Technical Service Specialist
Job description
As Technical Service Specialist you will work on assigned geographic area and equipment range.
The basic activities include IT/Networking administration at customer sites, installation and maintenance of systems, as well as reporting in administrative systems.
Position is based in Sweden / Denmark, in South of Sweden or in the Copenhagen area, with responsibility to primarily travel and support Sweden / Denmark installed base collaboration with local Customer Service, secondary support other Nordic countries.
You will report directly to the Nordic Field Service Manager based in Finland and you will be supported by Nordic Technical Service Engineers and outsourced colleagues.
We are looking for an open and business minded personality having preferably Technician Engineer education with technical major or relevant experience.
Experience from IT/Network administration, computing and service is preferred; troubleshooting instrumentation, or technical ability to maintain computers and instrumentation. Advantageous for the position is a firm ability to install and troubleshoot computer systems and networks, and manage system interfaces.
To manage position, you are required to be able to work without direct supervision and achieve goals while being managed remotely. Company car will be provided so a valid driving license is basic requirement for this position.
Desirable background and characteristics
• Experience from Technical Service is preferred;
• Minimum two years working experience on similar work
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish or Danish and English are mandatory
• Driving license is mandatory (company car will be provided)
• Good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
• Self-motivated, analytical and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• You will be based in home office either in South of Sweden or in the Copenhagen area.
• IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite is mandatory
