Regionen består av 8 länder, Danmark, Sverige, Norge, Finland, Island, Estland, Lettland och Litauen. 90 % av alla Canon reparationer i regionen utförs av deras auktoriserade verkstäder, resterande repareras hos Canon Nordic RCC. Deras 2nd level helpdesk spelar en mycket viktigt nyckelroll i att supportera CIG konsumenter med de eventuella problem som efter inköp kan uppstå på deras skrivare, scanner, fax, multifunktionsskrivare, digitala kamera, videokamera, räknare, projektor eller kopiator.
Job Purpose and Summary
Canon Nordic & Baltic RCC are responsible for the Service & Support of Canon's Professional Photo & Video products as well as the consumer products within Photo, Video and Office in the Nordic and the Baltic region covering Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Nordic & Baltic RCC is a part of a Pan European Organization and there are in total 6 RCC's (Regional Competence Centre's) in Europe based in, London, Paris, Milano, Willich, Moscow and Mölndal. Each RCC Director reports directly to Canon Europe's Head Office which is based in London.
The main responsibilities of the RCC are:
• Warranty and chargeable repairs on Canon Professional Photo and Video Products as well as Consumer products (CIG) both as bring-in and On-Site service.
• Internal workshop operations.
• 2nd and 3rd level support in the Nordic and Baltic regions to photographers, end-users and service partners.
• Service Partner Management, Settlement, Support and Training.
• Spare Parts Management.
• Customer Complaints Handling
• Retail Returns Refurbishing.
• Reworks handling
The RCC-office is based in Mölndal where 31 employees currently are employed.
The position as Technical Service Manager will be a part of the Nordic & Baltic RCC Management Team reporting directly to the Service Director.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsible for RCC's internal workshop operations as well as the 3rd Level Support.
The RCC are in an expandable phase and the internal workshop will therefore go through some changes where the number of technicians will increase over the next coming years. This will be reached by both internal reorganizations as well as by external recruitments. The Technical Service Manager will have an important role in this change process in close cooperation with the rest of the local RCC Management Team.
The Technical Service Manager is in addition of the daily management of the internal workshop operations also responsible for the technical training, technical support and technical communication through the product specialists at 3rd Level Support.
As the RCC reports directly to Canon's European head office in London a part of the role is also to participate in Pan European projects representing the Nordic & Baltic's region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical education.
Documented experience in people management and performance management, preferable in a technical environment.
Background as a technician or technical trainer is an advantage.
English on a business level, both in written and in spoken.
