Description
The client is looking for a Technical SEO Software Engineer. As a Technical SEO Software Engineer, you will belong to a dedicated agile SEO tech team. Your focus will be to identify and implement SEO technical improvements across the Group and work with innovative SEO tests and pilots. You will also work closely with Product Owner and agile team including other SEO experts, front-end and CMS developers to make sure that the product development is in line with the needs and will create business value.
Work tasks:
• Identify tech improvements by running tech SEO audits
• Drive page performance improvement initiatives
• Support redirect and migration initiatives
• Lead and evaluate global SEO tech pilots and tests
• Advise other teams in Business Tech on SEO best practices
• Share SEO knowledge and deliver SEO trainings as needed
Mandatory competence and experience:
• You are used to working with a broad scope of SEO, covering everything from audits to technical set-ups in collaboration with developers and programmers
• 5+ years of experience in technical SEO
• Deep understanding of relevant SEO technologies and how they can be used to create strategic value
• Experience in web-development, e.g., content management systems (CMS) and understanding programming languages such as JS, CSS, HTML
• Experience in optimizing XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, hreflangs and more
• Operational experience with setting and implementing redirect policies (e.g., Akamai Edge Redirector Cloudlet)
• Advanced knowledge of site analytics, keyword research, Google Search Console, SEO tools (e.g., DeepCrawl, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
• Strong experience in an international e-commerce environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Coding will not be required but understanding of the code is.
• Fluent in English written an oral
