The EDOS TSS Expert is expected to have solid technical background on network design and optimization preferably with 3+ years of field experience. In particular expertise is required in the areas of RF & RAN design & optimization (GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, LTE) and in transmission/transport and core network domains. It is however not expected that each TSS group member is an expert in all of the above areas.
Prior experience in pre-sales work and working in customer interface is highly desirable. In particular, expertise is required to understand customer requirements and how to translate those into a project scope leveraging our strengths. The TSS expert will be able to greatly influence and contribute in the scope of key service projects and tool sales. Innovative and consultative approach promoting most efficient tools and processes is expected.
Prior experience on Ericsson service delivery tools (Optimi portfolio and/or other tools) is desired. If needed, training will be arranged on tools and processes.
Working mode and work location:
The EDOS TSS group is a virtual team of TSS experts working on assignment from other parts of Ericsson organization. While the line management is done through the home organization the day-to-day TSS work is managed by the EDOS TSS director who is funding the assignment. The main work location of the TSS experts is not expected to change.
However, the TSS team members are expected to travel as needed to participate in customer meetings and internal events. Expected travel needs are on average couple of trips per month each trip normally lasting 2-4 days. Since the TSS team members are based in different parts of the world some flexibility is required to accommodate for time differences. For example, there may be occasionally need to participate in telephone conferences outside of the normal office hours.
