Worktasks
As a participant in the Technical Sales Rotation Program you will rotate through challenging positions across different countries during a 12 months period. You will gain valuable product, business and customer knowledge. International assignments will help you broaden your horizon and be close to our customers anywhere in Europe.
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for growing TI’s business within key customer accounts. This collaborative career position offers the best of both worlds – the ability to put your technical skills to good use and the chance to work with customers on a daily basis to create breakthrough innovations that can change lives. Some of the responsibilities include:
• Working with customers to understand business opportunities and designing in suitable products that result in revenue.
• Making regular visits to our customers’ design & commercial departments to discuss TI solutions to the customers’ problems.
• Understanding the customer’s decision process and driving plans to successfully execute new designs with TI products.
The location for the program isn't set yet but it will be out of Sweden. Possible locations are UK, France, Scandinavia, The United States, Germany etc. After your year as a trainee you will be situated in either Stockholm, Gothenburg or Lund. This decision will be taken during the year.
Your profile
• Successfully pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Will have the ability to effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a balanced level of assertiveness are needed to effectively influence decisions
• Successful participants must also have the ability to drive for results, a passion to win, the desire to collaborate and the ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Good English and local language skills
