This position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager.
In this role, you will act as a key technical partner to sales teams, customers, and channel partners. You will support the sales process with deep technical knowledge within power systems, ensuring that customers receive optimal, well-justified solutions tailored to their needs. The position involves close collaboration across teams and active participation in customer-facing activities such as meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
As a Technical Sales Support Specialist, you will work in modern power systems with a primary focus on synchronous condensers and related grid-stabilizing technologies. In this position, you will help customers navigate complex technical challenges by developing robust, high-performance solutions that enhance grid resilience, stability, and power quality. Your expertise will play a key role in shaping future-proof electrical infrastructures while supporting sales teams throughout the entire customer journey.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical authority in the sales process by interpreting customer enquiries, specifications, and requirements, and providing clear, value-adding technical guidance
Review and comment on technical specifications, ensuring alignment with product capabilities, standards, and customer expectations
Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers and account teams to shape winning technical solutions and strategies for both standard and complex opportunities
Take part in customer meetings, workshops, and negotiations, conveying technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical participants
Perform analytical and diagnostic studies, understand and evaluate including power system assessments and simulations, to evaluate different solution scenarios and identify optimal configurations
Develop and propose tailored technical solutions for complex enquiries, balancing performance, cost, and feasibility
Support the preparation and delivery of high-quality technical presentations, demonstrations, and bid materials for customers and internal stakeholders
Contribute to the development and delivery of training sessions on products, systems, and applications, ensuring knowledge transfer across teams and customers
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Power system, or other relevant degree.
Experience working within the power system industry.
Hands-on experience with power system simulations and analysis tools
Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into practical, customer-oriented solutions
An initiative-taking, communicative approach with the ability to engage effectively in both technical discussions and customer interactions
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Swedish.
