You will be part of High Voltage Breakers in Ludvika. The unit manufactures air-insulated breakers with the entire world as our market. We are the Technical Lead Center for our products globally, but we also develop technology and production for ABB's factories for Breakers. Our sister plants are located in China, India, Russia, Brazil and Egypt.
Challenge: At HV Breakers your task will be, by examining customer specifications, to support our sales representatives around the world in their choice of high voltage breakers. You will, among other things, ensure that our sales staff has sufficient technical basic documents, such as type test protocols. Also, you will follow up on market requirements and international standards as well as manage type tests and verifications in customer-oriented projects. This position offers comprehensive work responsibilities with a lot of customer contact. You will develop into our organization's natural choice for advice in matters regarding HV Breakers. In addition, you will build a wide network and meet people from numerous cultures.
Requirements: You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and preferably with a major in Electrical Power. You should master MS Office and it is advantageous if you have worked within the Electrical Power business. Further, experience from station layouts is highly valued. You need to communicate well in English, both in speech and in writing, while other languages are qualifying. As a person, you thrive when collaborating with others and enjoy giving as well as providing advice. You easily get along with other people and have a deep commitment regardless of your endeavor. Finally, you have an innate desire to learn more about all aspects related to your work.
