About the role:
Technical sales representative
The role of a Technical Sales Representative is multifaceted, combining technical expertise with salesmanship to promote and sell technical products or services to businesses or consumers.
Technical Sales Representative is to bridge the gap between technical expertise and customer needs, driving sales by effectively communicating the value of technical solutions and providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process.

As a technical sales representative you are someone who has a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the products or services you are selling. A problem solver, result-orientated.

Responsibilities:
Identifying Prospects: Research and identify potential customers or clients who would benefit from the technical solutions offered by the company. This may involve cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online resources.
Understanding Customer Needs: Engage with prospects to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and goals. Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine how the company's products or services can address those needs effectively.
Presenting Solutions: Prepare and deliver tailored presentations or demonstrations to showcase how the company's offerings solve the customer's technical problems. Clearly communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of the products or services.
Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, earning their trust and confidence. Act as a trusted advisor by providing valuable insights, recommendations, and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
Negotiating Terms: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Address any objections or concerns they may have and work towards a successful close.
Collaborating with Internal Teams: Liaise with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment and coordination. Provide feedback from customers to help improve products, services, and sales strategies.
Managing Sales Pipeline: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in a CRM system. Manage the sales pipeline effectively, prioritizing leads and opportunities to maximize sales outcomes.
Skills:
Understand the technical aspects of the products or services being sold.
