Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes AB is a part of Akzo Nobel that supplies coatings for the Automotive market. The focus is on aftermarket and the Commercial Vehicles market. The used brands are Sikkens, Lesonal, Mason and also the corporate name of Akzo Nobel is used.
The position offered is in the Commercial Vehicles market with main responsibilities of the OEM customers.
Responsibilities
Contributes to execution of the sales -, cost - and profitability targets established by the sBU within the allocated sales area by providing technical support and training, in acquiring new business and in maintaining existing customers.
The main tasks and responsibilities:
• Actively drive, together with the Sales Manager, the key phases of the sales process to acquire new business.
• Delivers professional training to existing and potential customers on the use and application of products, services, equipment and documentation at both the customers? location and within the ATC.
• Performs technical scans and audits at assigned customers.
• Proactively prevents and solves problems of a technical nature occurring at customers.
• Assists and advice in the testing process as well as in the implementation of new products and technologies.
• Aligns own activities with all departments using CRM, up-dates key customers? databases with valid, accurate and complete information (visits, products, equipment etc.)
• Cooperates with the technical department to handle complex technical issues and claims as well as in educating customers on solutions.
• Delivers periodical progress reports, proactively submits information regarding trends within the market and provides recommendations regarding the improvements
• Promotes a positive company image and develops long-term relations with customers.
• Gets familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HS&E standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this position you should have a technical educational background, basic knowledge in paint and 3-5 years experience in a sales position business to business preferably in Automotive. If you have knowledge in surface treatment it is an advantage.
As a person you are good at relationship-building and always put the customer's needs at the center. Flexibility and good interpersonal skills are essential qualities for success in the role. We assume that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and that you have experience of working in Microsoft Office
Additional information
The positions are permanent on a full time basis. Requires 80 travel days per year.
