Location
One opening is immediately available within the Customer Relations Department in Thermo-Calc Software AB Stockholm, Sweden. We adhere to a remote-friendly mindset, meaning that the work location is flexible for the right candidate. Some travel is required for conferences and customer support.
Primary responsibilities
As a technical sales and support engineer you will have direct contact with customers and potential customers for discussing various sales and support issues. You will create clear sales proposals which are subject to meet the customer 's needs, as well as make and send quotes to customers and prospects, follow up the quotes, and so on. You will plan and implement sales activities such as product campaigns, user group meetings, customer visits, presentations, training courses, exhibitions, and follow ups. Also, you will help solve customers' and potential customers' simulation problems and showcase the value of using our products.
Qualifications
• We believe you have a degree in materials science, physics, or similar
• Proficient in using the Thermo-Calc software package (or similar)
• Strong competence in Python programming
• You are positive, self-motivated, and adaptable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• Fluent in written and spoken English
