As a technical requirement analyst, you will work closely to the internal clients and delivery teams to gather technical requirements and deliver the prerequisites for development of efficient BI solutions. You will be part of a large development team at the heart of our data warehouse, serving business with reports and analytics to make informed decisions.
Your responsibilities
The job of a Technical Requirements Analyst to Business Intelligence at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun.
Your to do-list includes:
• Explore and detail business needs, objectives, and goals in relation to different initiatives and projects
• Prepare and conduct meetings and workshops with multiple stakeholders to understand business expectations and needs in relation to technical solutions and limitations
• Communicate requirement findings to developers, testers, solution designers, system responsible etc. and cooperate regarding design and test
• Conduct pre-study activities due to IT changes to evaluate the business impact and provide expert advice to different stakeholders
• Contribute in delivery planning and prioritization together with development lead and business representatives
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the requirements process

• Experience from analysing and assessing financial data on the business side
• Understanding of business needs and translating them into IT-solutions
• Analytical mindset - You like the challenge of connecting the dots and visualizing complex dependencies and data flows to understand how business is impacted
• Natural communicator - You have excellent communication skills both orally and written in English, and can explain technical details to both technical and business users
• Versatile, adaptable, and able to switch context - You will be involved in many different projects and initiatives at the same time. Being able to plan, prioritize, and context switch is crucial
• Broad Technical knowledge - You're a quick learner who love IT and are curious for new experiences, complex technologies, and tools
Qualifying
• Previous BI experience (preferably with datawarehousing/dimensional models) and knowledge of SQL
• Experience from assessing and analysing management information
• IT Business analyst experience
• Knowledge of agile methodologies
• Experience from software development, preferably as a developer or technical project manager
• Understanding of KPIs as a basis for business decisions
