Qualifications:
As a technical buyer, you are responsible for aquiring goods and services as well as collecting related order specific documentation working with both local and international supplier bases. You communicate with suppliers and subcontractors in an active and solution focused way. You also participate in selected procurement negotiations. You take care of the accuracy of delivery dates and you ensure that the organization has the right goods and services in place at the right time.
As an experienced professional, you aim to constantly bring out new cost effective purchasing options. You respect and have knowledge of the supply chain processes and procedures. You cooperate actively with internal stakeholders from projects, operations and maintenance and you also work in close cooperation with both planning and production.
We expect from you:
• Some years of experience in procurement tasks and a suitable technical background
• Proficiency in English and Swedish; Finnish skills would be an asset
• Good ICT skills and the ability to embrace new systems easily
• Experience working in an industrial environment; process industry and/or project business experience would be an asset
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
• A systematic, enthusiastic and initiative taking approach to work
• Strong communications skills and good ability to cope with pressure
