Now we are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join our Chip Platforms IP team.
WHAT DO I DO?
As a Technical Project Manager in our team you will manage the project responsible for Axis internal development of the chip. You will have several personal interfaces that you will cooperate with both internally and outside our team (and Axis), responsible for software, algorithms, vendors, electronics and products.
You will coordinate, prioritize and communicate the project work as well as planning and follow-up of the deliveries to and from the other projects and 3 rd party IP core providers.
We place great emphasis on continuous improvement and work tasks may include investigating new methodologies and update our work process, as well as, participate in forums and workshops to enhance your skills and spread knowledge.
MY QUALIFICATIONS?
You see yourself as a driven leader with a genuine interest in advanced ASIC development and leadership. Of course, you have a passion for motivating your project team, make requirements clear and well understood as well as using your creativity to resolve challenges in the project.
Your educational background includes a master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or similar and we believe that you have experience of leading technical teams from specification to implementation. Many of the teams and surrounding projects uses agile methods and you should be familiar with the agile approach and flow.
Axis values teamwork very high and you are expected to contribute with good spirit and welcome the different agile working methodologies used in our projects. You possess good communication skills in both English and Swedish. You are open minded and goal-oriented with an interest in building well-functional fast pace teams.
THE CHIP PLATFORM IP TEAM
Your team within Chip Platforms IP, is responsible for development of Axis own developed ASICs with hardware acceleration of essential functions in a surveillance camera. We design, develop, implement, integrate and verify the hardware modules that are integrated in a circuit (ASIC), giving us the competitive edge in Axis technology leadership. Our hardware blocks implement functionality such as image processing, video compression and computer vision. For some functions in the Chip we are working in tight cooperation with external vendors providing for instance 3 rd Party IP cores in addition to our own developed cores.
