This is a key position with overall responsibility and management of assigned R&D projects, internal as well as external. The projects are multidisciplinary including physics, mechanics, electronics and software engineering with high levels of uncertainty and many dependencies. The projects include stakeholder involvement at different levels and with different interests and expectations.
The position is placed at Excillum headquarter in Kista, Stockholm. The team consists of world-class engineers and scientists developing and manufacturing X-ray sources.
Most important tasks
Outline project plans with milestones and deliverables
Identify constraints, assumptions and key success factors
Status reports and result-oriented follow-up
Frequently revise the projects
Lead cross-functional team of talented engineers and scientists assigned to the project
Qualifications
M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar education
Minimum 3 years experience from successfully delivering projects in high tech industries (preferably you have additional experience from at least 3 years working as an engineer before you took the step to project management).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about leading and partnering with others
