As Technical Project Manager, you're basically a force of one that makes sure that your team is able to do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. Gather information. Question. Clarify. Remove obstacles. Follow up. Report. Rinse and repeat.
Or, in greater detail, we need you to:
• Plan and run projects from initiation through to implementation
• Lead cross-functional project teams
• Work with customers/stakeholders to translate business requirements into solutions
• Develop high-level project plans and ensure that the scope and approach are fully understood by all stakeholders
• Manage project costs, resources, change requests, risks and issues
• Provide regular project status updates
• Break down barriers while shielding your team
• Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the end of each sprint
• Perform hands-on reviews of product backlog/requirements, designs, code, test scripts, and results as needed
• Use your skills and knowledge to provide design alternatives, ask probing questions, and support your team in resolving technical issues
• Track and communicate team velocity, financials etc in relation to the plan
• Know when to raise issues versus work through issues with the team
Qualifications
• 3+ years of technical delivery experience
• Experience in leading technical teams and managing stakeholders
• Strong background in mobile and/or web development
• Experience applying Scrum, Kanban, Lean or similar methodologies to technical project management. A Scrum Master certification is a major plus
• Experience using Jira or similar tools
