Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for a Technical Project Manager who would like to be part of building the future and aiming to constantly be in the forefront of our areas.
The position is based at Kongsberg Automotive Technical Centre in Mullsjö Sweden.

You are comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders such as program managers, customers, sales, production and, of course, the engineering team. The team comprises diverse engineering disciplines and you have a good grasp of the part that each of them plays during the product development life cycle.
You tend towards a systemic view of both products and organizations and gets energized by sense making in complex and fast changing environments. Adapting plans and approaches comes naturally to you and you have a good eye for identifying and managing risks.
We are a small team with diverse backgrounds and look forward to your contribution to our palette of competencies. As technical project manager you will be in the care of Jesper, our project management office manager. He will be a great support together with the team and give you the opportunity to grow, share, and learn in our community.
What will you do?
You will work with product development projects in all stages from early concept and feasibility studies thru maturing development cycles until handover to serial production.
You will be defining project management plans, tailor project life cycles, define work breakdown structures and project/product backlogs.
You will mentor and coach the engineering teams to perform work package estimations and project risk identifications.
You will be responsible to facilitate effective communication in and around the project teams.
You will support project teams by identifying and remove impediments to execution.
Who are you?
Master's or bachelor's degree in software, electrical or mechanical engineering or similar relevant experience.
Minimum 2 years in leading and facilitating teams, preferably multi-disciplinary and/or multi-cultural.
Strong interpersonal and group communication skills.
Experience in project management, agile methods, and product development processes.
You have previous experience and good skills working with project Work breakdown structures or product/project backlogs.
Experience with engineering life cycle management systems meriting. (IBM ELM Jazz used at KA)
Previous work experience with mechatronic/embedded systems is preferred.
Experience from the automotive industry - especially ISO-26262 and Automotive-SPICE - is highly qualifying.
