Hitachi Energy is seeking a Technical Project Manager. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and monitoring all work related to the project. The role is organized in the design department in the project manager team where you and your colleagues manage projects in all departments within the unit, not only within engineering. This position will give you the chance to work with both internal and external stakeholders. Customer interaction is common, but magnitude depend on the type of project. Your focus will be HVDC and the retrofit market.

Your responsibilities
In cooperation with after sales, structure all historic deliveries of HVDC components and their respective status.
Map best solution for OLTC 's and Bushings for respective project.
Manage and keep track on on-going tenders from a technical perspective for HVDC, both new sales and after sales.
Keep repository of type tests and type tests summaries up to date for a smooth tendering process.
Together with after sales, define target projects where existing product portfolio can be utilized for an upgrade.
Plan, organize, lead, monitor and manage all technical activities in the agreed target projects.
Manage all technical communication regarding the project.
You are always updated regarding the three focus areas for your projects: scope, time and cost.
Ensure that processes are known and followed in the project.
Ensure that "Lessons Learned" & processes are followed and are fed back to the organization using the business process and tools.
Your background
First and foremost, your personal qualities are vital for success.
As Technical Project Manager it is essential that you are customer focused, result oriented and a good team player.
Experience of HVDC systems is a plus.
Experience of transformer components is a requirement.
You contribute with your proactive communication skills, as well as with your ability to motivate others.
Adding your great collaboration skills, you have what it takes to thrive in this position.
You have skills in managing people with various background and see differences as an opportunity.
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in any engineering discipline.
Experience from working with technology development is beneficial.
Prior project management experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
English fluency (written and spoken)
