hela Sverige The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible to structure, drive and execute the industrialization of new and existing products from design phase to hand-over to Production for all Inhouse-manufacturing activities. Together with the Manufacturing Tech Lead the TPM leads all manufacturing activities in a project.
Key responsibilities
Accountable for leading, tracking and improving all manufacturing activities in the project, including manufacturing process development, launch readiness for new products and Design for Manufacturing
Represent the Manufacturing department together with the Manufacturing Tech Lead in the project and all cross-functional meetings and balance Manufacturing positions with Project targets
Develop a complete Industrialization plan together with the Supplier Industrialization Manager to enable a efficient and stable production of the product
Plan, organize, direct and conduct industrialization related activities within the development team, supply chain team and production team.
Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Design teams.
Develop Launch plan including key production milestones (line/prototype trials)
Translate manufacturing engineering roadmap and needs into work packages.
Responsible for coordinated progress and time plan for all manufacturing disciplines
Frequent progress reports to facilitate decision making
Plan Ressources, build and lead the project/program team across manufacturing engineering (i.e., equipment, process, A&C, Industrialization, Factory engineering)
Provide input on new or alternative materials for improved design, manufacturability or cost reduction.
Qualifications/education/experience
M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent degree
Extensive experience as project manager or industrialization engineer in a fast moving and high demanding environment
Specific skills:
Fluency in English
Track record as project manager driving complex product projects in brownfield or greenfield expansion, either in planning and designing phase, and/or execution phase
Strong skills as communicator, both internally as well as externally
