Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develop autonomous and articulated haulers and wheel loaders. We do everything from product planning, development, sales and marketing to purchasing, manufacturing and assembly of the complete machine. The Team
Product Platforms for the Autonomous & Articulated Hauler is part of the Volvo CE Technology organization.
We are currently 18 engineers with specialist competencies working in a collaborative setup across product departments. Securing consistent technology sharing and concept development, supporting the product platforms, Medium, Large, Heavy and Autonomous. The Platforms are involved in the complete product life cycle from advanced engineering to aftermarket support.
The Role
You will be a part of the project management team developing our products from idea to an industrialized product. Your responsibility will be to lead primarily the functions development team within the scope of the project. Cross functional communication, collaboration within the organization and focus on problem solving will be key. Development journey will range from identification of requirements to functional verification in rig and machine and further all the way into the market. You will create, plan and manage the backlog in the daily work and the teams deliveries will be paced into the project time plan.

To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge/experience:
University degree MSc in Engineering or equivalent
Experience within product development and machine or subsystem projects
Experience from functional development and specification
Ability to lead and engage a team
Self-motivated and able to manage time and prioritize work load
Creativity and innovative thinking
Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written
Experience/knowledge in the following areas will be beneficial and are meritorious:
Autonomous or driver assisting solutions, Experience from automotive or construction equipment, Systems Engineering, Model based Systems Engineering, Product and system architecture
