hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
To be a global champion the Traton group must have a presence in one of the world's biggest commercial vehicle markets: China. The premium Scania truck will be produced in Scania 's production plant in Rugao, our third production footprint. This ambition requires an R&D organisation that can develop and maintain the aimed product portfolio and on the way, we work agile and put work and effort where we identify the critical tasks in the project - it's moving fast and it's a fun way of working, are you coming along for the ride?
Your work assignments
As a technical project leader, you will be helping a part of setting the strategic direction and the plan for the development work together with managers, designers and project leaders. You will be responsible for a couple of chassis components with smaller teams connected to each system - from first design draft to industrialisation. Your main responsibilities will be to lead these teams, set the direction forward and create, establish and follow-up time plans together with relevant cross-functions.
Your profile
You are comfortable working in an organisation under build-up, where not everything is in place, you like to take initiative and you are able to fast and efficiently solve problems and deliver results.
As a person, you are engaged, solution-oriented, and like high pace. You have courage, take great responsibility and have a good ability to develop and maintain a wide network of contacts at all levels. We believe that you are used to working and delivering on high expectations.
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree or the equivalent knowledge acquired some other way. You also have competence and experience from working with chassis components or installation. You need to be fluent in English, written and spoken.
Does this job sound amazing to you but you don't think you meet all the requirements? We value your personality as number one. We give you the base for success independent of your previous experiences.
Work location
Work will be done from Södertälje and flexible work location may be applied to reflect competencies needed and deliveries in the project. Later options will be discussed to be on shorter or longer assignments in our new R&D office in China, based on interest and business needs.
