Are you looking for an exciting position in the marine business where you can use your interest of both technical challenges and project lead? We can offer you the opportunity as Technical Project Lead in our Propulsion & Engines division at Kongsberg Maritime in Kristinehamn.
We are looking for an experienced or recently graduated engineer, who with determination and commitment can take responsibility for leading the technical parts of our propeller and shaft line projects. You will be part of a competent and positive team working with customization of propeller systems in new sales projects. The team are handling everything from development and interface adaptions, to detailed manufacturing drawings and customer relations.
Key accountabilities
As Technical Project Lead you will have the overall technical responsibility for the delivery of propeller products and be our representative in technical matters. You have a close dialogue with our customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, this to maintain our high standard of delivery and make sure our products will meet our customers unique and specific needs. You work side by side with our Contract Managers, who has the commercial responsibility, and in close collaboration with colleagues from different business areas. In this position, you should find it motivating to have many projects and contacts ongoing in parallel. Some travelling to customers and suppliers worldwide may also be required.

Qualifications and experience
To succeed in this position, you should have a university education in engineering, or equivalent work experience. Experience from leading projects and/or working as design engineer is an advantage. Due to the nature of an international customer and supplier base, high level of English, both written and oral, is important. Communication skills in other languages is considered an advantage.
