PDU Base Band and Interconnect

Business Area Networks are responsible for the company's industry leading radio products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson's technology leadership. Product Development Unit (PDU) Base Band and Interconnect consist of approximately 2000 R&D professionals spanning R&D sites in Europe and Asia. The PDU is responsible for all aspects of Base Band and Interconnect HW and SW module development and their integration. The products are part of Ericsson Radio System. The PDU is heavily involved in product development for 5G.

We are now looking for a Technical Product Owner in the Sync & Interconnect area. We welcome the opportunity to meet you!

Job summary

This is a position as Technical Product Owner, being a member of the Technology Management team within the CAT OAM, Sync & Interconnect (CSI) Sector.

As Technical Product Owner, you are responsible for building and prioritize the backlogs for the cross functional teams (XFTs) in the Interconnect and/or Sync area. You are involved in early phase of planning and systemization, and from this drive the breakdown of Solution Packages and other activities (like Pre-Development, etc.) into high level User Stories. You are also gaining the business and customer understanding to be able to prioritize the User Stories.

You will have a very important role in securing the 5G success for Ericsson!

Responsibilities:
• Secure a top-notch backlog for CSI
• Support project managers and SP drivers with planning and F decision material
• Work in close collaboration with relevant stake holders (projects, line, other OPOs, Architects, Product Guardians, etc.)
• Daily be available to the XFTs for technical support and give "the big picture"
• Help to XFTs to improve capabilities by feedback and support with continuous improvement activities

Key Qualifications:
• M.Sc., B.Sc. or similar in the Computer, Electrical or Telecommunication Science or Engineering Physics.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
