Kambi has successfully transformed from being an in-house Sportsbook to being the World's leading Sportsbook B2B service.
As a product owner at Kambi you will be responsible for planning and prioritizing product development that will improve our sportsbook service. You will be the person who steers the day-to-day plan for one, or sometimes two, development teams. All in all, your main responsibility is to ensure that your team spends its time on the most valuable things in order to create a great sportsbook service.
In this particular role, we are looking for a product owner with a technical background to work with a development team that owns Kambi's Bet Offer Storage Service. The main responsibility of this role is to drive improvements of the feature set and technical performance of our Bet Offer Storage Service to meet the demands of Kambi's broader product and commercial roadmaps.
Responsibilities:
• Own the product backlog, plan and lead refinement sessions/groomings as the product expert
• Create, maintain, and refine the vision for the Bet Offer Storage Service, in conjunction with the development team and architects
• Continuously discover, slice and plan what value to build
• Prove that the efforts of you and your development team produce value
• Work with architects and business units, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that your product vision aligns with the broader Kambi technical, product, and commercial roadmaps
We expect you to:
• Be inspired by taking responsibility for a "technical product" i.e. a product which is used by other software components, rather than human users
• Have experience as a software developer or tester
• Understand and, ideally, have experience of the product owner role
• Be comfortable with driving product discovery, which requires a range of different methods and processes
• Have proven ability to understand complex technical environments
• (optionally) Have an interest in sports, betting, and sports betting!
