• Update of manufacturing documentation e.g. drawings and specifications.
• Update product data in the PLM system.
• Take part in design reviews.
• Assemble and test prototypes.
• Under direction, update existing instruments.
• Assist in the design and development of new instruments.
Masters degree, or a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably combined with at least 1-2 years of work life experience from mechanical design and development.
Experience with 3D CAD. Preferably PTC Creo.Fluency in English, both oral and written.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you take an integral part in the hardware development of Biotage instruments. The focus is mainly on CAD in PTC Creo and updates of existing instruments. Design of new instrument in product development projects will also be a part of the position.
