About this opportunity
The Mission Critical Networks organization consists of approximately 20 people with the fundamental task of coordination and supporting Ericsson customer engagements in the area of public safety, government, large utilities and rail customers. We are now looking for a Technical product and portfolio manager to support a continued long-term profitable business and to make sure our portfolio meets customer requirements.
The role requires experience in working with requirements, user-stories, epics and use cases that serves as input for R&D. From time to time you will also be asked to participate in studies and investigation run by colleagues at Ericsson Research or other system departments.
The role is in our Technology Portfolio team, and you will be one of six highly skilled individuals with the focus to influence and participate in groundbreaking activities in new areas and towards market segments that have its main purpose to Save and Protect life and property.
What you will do
Work on strategic level identifying requirements and secure that customer requirements and feedback are transformed into technical requirements that are then funnel to R&D
Be prepared to step in where it is needed, the organization is small, and sometimes it is all hands onboard to secure progress in whatever area it might be
Manifest Ericsson as technology leader, communicate and discuss Ericsson's technology strategy and vision with customers as well as with internal R&D and Research organization and be the bridge and glue between Customer and R&D


You will bring
Education: Bachelor of Science or similar
Experience of BDGS organization and its portfolio, areas of special importance are COS and UDM
E2E knowledge in LTE and 5G portfolio of products and services
Experience from working with customers, partners or Ericsson external entities such as standardization forums
Understanding of Ericsson solutions and portfolio governance (PLCM)
Broad personal network cross-Ericsson and preferably experience from collaboration with external companies and partners
Experience from our focus areas such as Public Safety and Governmental users is an advantage
