Your role
As the Technical Product Manager for multiple end customer products for fixed- and rotary-wing, you will play a primary role as the driving force behind sustainment and R&D. Your expertise will shape the future of our products and services.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll work closely with our strategic product management and sales team to shape requirements and proposals. Together with our dedicated team leaders, you will ensure that design activities are seamlessly integrated into our sprint planning process.
What sets this role apart is the hands-on involvement you'll have with design artifacts. From creating requirements specifications to developing cutting-edge customer applications and crafting meticulous end customer documentation, you'll be at the forefront of the design process.
As design authority your keen judgment will determine when a new or updated product design meets our stringent requirements. Your strategic decisions will keep our projects on track and within budget.

For our role we see that you;
* ..have a solid experience in the fields of product development and systems engineering.
* ..have experience in leading product design activities.
* ..have excellent writing skills in English
* ..have some knowledge within Design Assurance Levels DO-178, DO-254 and envonmental qualification standards as DO-160.

You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of about 60 people located at Saab's site in Hackefors, Linköping. The product portfolio consists of AIS and VDES radio transceivers and networks for land, ships, aircraft and satellites, as well as advanced navigation and presentation systems. The site includes all functions required by a small independant company within the company, from marketing and sales, to product development, production planning, customer support and logistics. Saab TransponderTech is market leading with customers world-wide, and we operate on a commercial market with relatively short sales cycles.
