As we continue to grow our Technical Operations team, we are looking for a Technical Operations Specialist to join us in Stockholm.
About the role
Some roles are all about making things work. Not in a flashy way, but in the way people really notice when it's missing.
As a Technical Operations Specialist at Billogram, you'll be one of the people making sure our internal tech works the way it should. You'll help colleagues get the right tools, access, devices, and support they need to do their jobs well. From onboarding new employees to solving everyday technical issues and keeping our systems organized, you'll play an important part in making the workday run smoothly for the rest of the company.
It's a hands-on role for someone early in their career who likes technology, enjoys helping people, and wants to build a broad technical foundation. Over time, you'll also get closer to the technical work that supports our customer-facing teams, helping with context, documentation, and coordination when technical questions need to move between teams.
You won't be expected to know everything from day one. But you should enjoy figuring things out, asking good questions, and becoming the kind of person people trust when something needs to work.
Primary responsibilities
Make everyday tech work
Be one of the first people colleagues turn to when something technical needs fixing. This could mean helping with hardware, software, connectivity, accounts, devices, permissions, or the tools people use every day.
Give new colleagues a smooth start
Support employee onboarding by setting up accounts, devices, access rights, and the practical technical details that help people feel ready from day one.
Handle access and offboarding properly
Support structured offboarding by making sure access rights, accounts, devices, and assets are handled in a secure and organized way.
Support the systems behind the workday
Help administer and maintain core IT systems, including identity management, endpoint security, collaboration tools, and other platforms that keep Billogram running.
Create structure around common issues
Document IT processes, recurring questions, and practical how-tos so knowledge becomes easier to find and problems get solved faster over time.
Keep track of our equipment and tools
Assist with IT asset management, inventory tracking, and lifecycle planning so we know what we have, what people need, and what needs attention.
Support customer-facing technical work when needed
As you grow into the role, you will also support the Technical Account Management team with technical context, documentation, tooling, and coordination between internal teams and customer-facing operations.
Who we think will thrive in this role
We think this role could be a great fit for someone who likes being close to the practical side of technology.
You might have worked in IT support, technical operations, workplace IT, technical customer support, or a similar role for around 1-2 years. You don't need to have done everything before. What matters more is that you're curious, reliable, and willing to learn.
You enjoy helping people solve problems. Sometimes that means fixing something small but urgent. Sometimes it means setting up a process so the same issue doesn't keep coming back. And sometimes it means staying calm, asking the right questions, and making sure the person on the other end feels taken care of.
To feel comfortable in the role, it helps if you have a solid technical foundation. You understand the basics of networking, operating systems and cloud-based tools. You may also have worked with, or be curious to learn more about, tools such as Jamf, Google Workspace or similar platforms.
You're structured enough to keep track of tickets, access requests, devices, documentation, and follow-ups, but flexible enough to handle a day that doesn't always go exactly as planned. You communicate clearly, can explain technical things to people with different levels of technical knowledge, and like the feeling of making things work a little better than they did before.
It's a plus if you've worked with Jira, Jamf, scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell, AI tools, or if you have experience from a SaaS or technology company. None of these is a dealbreaker.
