At Nordic Entertainment Group, we entertain millions of people every day through our streaming services, radio networks, TV channels and production companies. From live sports and films to music and our own original shows, our purpose is to tell stories, touch lives and expand worlds. We're now launching our Viaplay streaming service in a wide range of new markets and aiming to become the international streaming challenger. As a Nordic company with a global perspective and clear values, we're looking for the best people to join us on our journey.

If this sounds like a challenge you're interested in, we're now looking for a Technical Operations Manager (TOM) to strengthen the team in our MCR in Stockholm.

The position
With content like Premier League, NHL, UFC, Formula 1 and winter sports, we work with the best sports productions in the world every day of the week. We deliver thousands of hours of live content every month via our streaming service Viaplay and our traditional linear channels.

The MCR in Stockholm is the central hub for all productions across the different markets, and as a TOM you'll contribute by delivering quality content to millions of fans across Europe. The main responsibility of the team is to coordinate and configure live transmissions. Job responsibilities include maintaining transmission service, coordinating reception of incoming feeds and outgoing transmissions in a 24/7 environment. You will communicate and coordinate between the markets and your role will be absolutely central. You are also first-line support on maintenance in production areas. You will be troubleshooting live on-air issues, monitoring and switching Viaplay streaming content as well as being the first point of contact for the MCR.

The position is full-time and based in Stockholm. Evenings, nights and weekends incl. holidays occur according to a rotational shiftwork schedule.

The journey ahead

NENT Sport is expanding and putting a lot of effort into the product we deliver every day.

We air live sports productions in several countries across the Nordics, Baltics and Europe. We are now heading into new markets and are constantly aiming to be the best.

You will join a high-performance team that works with tight deadlines and changes in the fun world of sports.

What we are looking for
To be our next TOM and to do well in the role, you need to pay great attention to details and have a strong ability to multi-task and make effective decisions in a high-pressure deadline-driven environment.

We believe you come from a technical broadcast background and are a problem solver who's willing to address interesting challenges head-on. You are a good communicator, a collaborator who enjoys interacting with both colleagues and suppliers and takes an interest in evolving as a professional.

Ideal candidates also meet the following requirements:

• Fluent English and basic Swedish language skills
• Experience from TV production and knowledge of broadcast signals
and formats
• Knowledge of technical systems (e.g. RF and AV matrices, SMPTE-2110, VoIP, ISDN)

Bonus requirements that will make you stand out from the rest:

• Experience from working with and understanding live sport
