You will operate and provide support within a new NTT Security Solution beeing launced during 2013. It will consist of a number of IT Operations sites worldwide where Gothenburg is one. You will take a lead in creating the role for roll-out worldwide. You will be part of building a competence center for global IT Security Operations where the core knowledge will be in Scandinavia. The teams mission is to build a stable infrastucture and support it. Contacts will our cooperation partners in the USA, Europe and Asia will be part of your daily routines in supporting Integralis platforms.
An a Technical Operations Engineer you will operate Secode and Integralis deliveryplatforms within IT-security. This includes serveroperation, network and firewalls. You will for example:
• Configure, investigate and solve problems in the delivery platforms
• Be part of development and upgrading the systems
• Deploy new systems; VPN connections
Work location is Gothenburg or Arendal. Duty on call can occur in this role. You join a team of two experienced Technical Operations Engineer but you will together with the Manager be the dedicated person to drive the new global solution.

Your Background
You have a relevant education in this field. At least five years experience of working in IT Operations is needed to be able to handle this role. You need to have experience from:
• Network administration
• Firewalls
• Linux computer systems
• Microsoft Windows Server computer systems
It is a merit, if you have experience from products like Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks and Cisco. If you have worked with systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, VMware vSphere, SAN Environments (fc/nfs) and Sybase Afaria it is an advantage. Scripting knowledge like Python, Perl, PHP or Shell script is also a merit.
Participation in community interest forums, special projects, personal hobbies etc. within the IT Security field is considered a merit.
Since this role comprises of considerable customer interaction and some documentation it is essential that you are fluent in English and Swedish and/or Norwegian. Furthermore you need to be skilled in documenting. Due to legal regulations working in our Security Operations Center require you are a Swedish/Norwegian citizen.

Your curiousity and persitence drives you to new areas of knowledge. A creative mind helps you in analyzing problems and to solve them. Persistance makes you able to cope with struggles and carry on until the problem is solved. You enjoy working in teams and can easily adjust to to the person at hand.
