Global Hygiene Supply, within SCA, is looking for a Technical Material Buyer to support Lilla Edet Mill in the Nordic region.
The Technical Material Buyer provides direct support to the Sourcing Managers, leads cost out projects across all Hub sites. He or she provides and ensures full compliance to SCA P2P process.

Global Sourcing will thereby drive down total costs by managing a sustainable and competitive supply base utilizing appropriate sourcing strategies, processes and resources which support the needs of the business. The position is located in Lilla Edet, Sweden and you will report to the Sourcing Manager whitin Lilla Edet.
Main Tasks
Execute design to cost opportunities for all hub streams across all Hub sites, ensuring working capital efficiency
Comply with SCA procedures, purchasing policy and financial instructions
Support Hub Sourcing managers in the execution of tenders, supplier qualification, supplier selection, risk management
Work closely with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement through cost saving projects, organizing trials, implementing supplier changes and tracking savings
Maintain and develop knowledge database, aligning reporting capability across the hub and co-ordination of systems improvements, driving initiatives such as E- procurement
Review and monitor sourcing operational needs when interfacing with suppliers, ensuring effective communication of best practices and supporting roll out of these initiatives (Hub level)
Review and maintain records of approved suppliers in line with SCA risk policy
Ensure that the interests of SCA are managed in a professional and ethical manner throughout all interactions with suppliers, ensuring full compliance with SCA Supplier Standard
Ensure, where appropriate, the integration of common product types across all sites of SCA and ensure a harmonized approach across all hub engineering storerooms
Supply regular updates and KPI’s to Sourcing managers to ensure effective communication of cost saving activities (Actual v’s target)
Key Competencies
Experience within a sourcing role is mandatory minimum 1-2 years'experience.
Must understand the purchasing process and be familiar with purchasing terminology
Diploma Level or equivalent education level.
Competent in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel & Powerpoint
SAP Experience is desirable.
Experience from handling negotiations
Ability to understand blueprints
Effective communication skills (written and oral)
Strong customer service focus
Methodical approach to planning & organization.
Good commercial awareness skills
Fluent in English and Swedish, oral and written
Furthermore, you are driven and have a convincing and coaching attitude, eager to be a spokesperson for implementing processes and new ways of working.
