Technical Marketing Manager
We are looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to lead our global technical marketing team for Ecophon/Saint-Gobain Ceilings.
About the position
You will be in charge of a team of experienced and dedicated engineers managing Saint-Gobain Ceilings ' products through their lifecycle. As the owner of all components and product specifications, you are responsible for the constant conformity of the products to we supply to our customers worldwide.
Areas of responsibility:
• Provide the company with knowledge and information beneficial for progress, within own area of responsibility as well as other areas
• Fully responsible for the budget for technical marketing as well as staff
• Own responsibility for Product Compliance management within Saint-Gobain Ceilings
• Ensure up to date documentation and certification around Saint-Gobain Ceilings products
• Own, implement and maintain component and product specifications
• Own the claim process for quality issues and coordinate internally the occurrences of non-conforming products and services
• Own the technical support process (2nd line support to our Business Units)
• Sustainability performance at product level and related certification
• Collaborate with Product Management to support product validation efforts and influence product direction
You interact regularly with the Production Units, other departments within Saint-Gobain Ceilings (in particular, Quality, Purchasing, Product Development, Product Marketing, Finance), the Legal department of Saint-Gobain in Paris, Saint-Gobain Ceilings business units around the world, suppliers and external test institutes. You will travel around 20 days/year.
You will report to Marketing Director and have 8 direct reports yourself. You will work from our global headquarter in Hyllinge.
Qualifications
You preferably hold a Bachelor or Master 's degree in the field of Technology, such as Engineering. Beneficial if you also have a Marketing/Business degree. You have at least five years of relevant experience in a managing position, preferably from the construction industry.
Required Skills
• You must have proven technical experience
• Structured and analytical
• Presentation skills
• Fluency in English, preferably also in French and Swedish
• Strong written and verbal communication, multitasking and interpersonal skills; curiosity and an aptitude for leading the team.
