About the job
It's an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while pursuing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. The company has decided as a strategic move to broaden its portfolio by offering Power Management ICs (PMICs). The role of Technical Marketing Manager for this new Nordic product line offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to influence and create value from day one. The position will be responsible for driving the definition, development, market introduction, and life cycle management of support components to the PMIC silicon by using both internal and external resources.
Key responsibilities
Create Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) that define PMIC-related use cases and the problems these need to have solved. Furthermore, combine PMIC knowledge, creative thinking, and input from customers and partners to define the deliverables such as development tools and algorithms that are the best solution to these problems
Work with R&D/apps/tools to create Product Requirement Documents that define the technical details of solving the use cases outlined in the MRD
Collaborate with industry partners such as energy source providers to create solutions that offer high, competitive value to our customers
Manage development schedules and ownership of the roadmap for non-silicon deliverables
Market introduction including supply channel management, collateral, training, etc.

Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering
Experience with battery charging and/or power regulation circuitry and the ability to acquire a deep understanding of all relevant use cases and supporting technology
Extensive embedded systems knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
