Main responsibilities
As part of our Development & Engineering Organisation, the Converting Line team within Packaging Material is responsible todevelop, maintain and implement world class converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions. In order to achieve our mission, we have built our new Converting Line organization with main focus on changing our way of working, to better meet future challenges. As a part of this process, we are now looking for a Technical Manager Coating & Lamination.
In this demanding and challenging position your role will be to Lead and Drive development, maintenance and implementation of specifications to improve performance. As our main focus is Package performance, another important part of the role is to secure translation of package functionality requirements into the technical specifications, equipment and process.
Your main responsibilities are to:
• Develop, Maintain and Implement the Technology Area Specifications.
• Establish and implement the Tetra Pak converting Technical Area strategy.
• Create and maintain technical & productivity requirements based on current and new specification.
• Ensure that Technical support and training is provided to Specification users.
• Translation of relevant standards into Converting Equipment specifications.
• Drive Technical Specification towards suppliers.
The position will be based in Lund with approx. 30% of travelling time.
Qualifications
We believe you have a M.Sc. within e.g. mechanical engineering or material physics/design and several years of experience from working in converting and development environment. You will need previous management experience to fully succeed in this role. Specification management and lamination experiences are other desired areas of experience as well as previous work within continuous improvements, Statistical Process Analysis, Lean or World Class Manufacturing. You are fluent in English, both written and oral.

You must be self motivated and persistent, combined with a curious and strategic mindset. Finally you are open-minded and a good teamplayer with great people skills and enjoy networking and communicating with others.
