We are now expanding our team with a Technical Manager to support the Product Management team using your technical skills to manage and maintain mobile phone software in cooperation with our Research and Development teams in Europe and South Korea. You will also be part of the sales process when presenting our devices and technical roadmap to our sales team and customers. The position is a part of the Nordic Product Management group, a dynamic team supporting the sales of mobile phones and tablets in the Nordics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Responsibility of the quality of the device and the software in the mobile terminal for the Nordic market. This work includes software tests of the terminal in all the Nordic markets and in all the major operators' networks.
• Ensure that the Nordic software is localized and quality assured in cooperation with Product Test Manager.
• Support the Sales team in the sales process towards operators and other customers.
• Maintain and follow up software issues.
• Find business opportunities by having good knowledge of the customers demand and the features of the products.
• Manage OS upgrades and ensure Time to Market.
• Ensure UX quality and consistency.
• Quality Inspections of incoming products from factory.
• Attend Line-up meetings with the customers.
• Attend PR, Sales, and Fair events if needed.
• Conduct internal product trainings.
• New Technologies support for projects (NFC, LTE etc.)
Your Background:
• 3-5 years experience from similar work tasks.
• Preferably Master's degree in Telecommunications/Science or equivalent
• Passion for mobile phones and a huge technical interest is a must.
• Sales & basic negotiation skills are preferred.
• Driver's license.
• Eye for details
• Fluent in English, spoken and in writing.
• Goal oriented
• Experience from working in an international environment is a plus.

This position requires business travelling approximately 30 days per year.
