The Technical Manager (TM) is responsible for the technical platform that RxEye is using for delivering the online service. This includes the technical architecture, operational environment, interfaces towards customer systems and the different products used.
The current platform is built from a national perspective to support radiology. RxEye is in a strong growth phase and the technical platform needs to be developed in terms of technical architecture, ability to communicate with other systems and internationalization.
RxEye has a contracted supplier for development, operations and support of the platform.
Responsibilities
Development
Understand and evaluate the technical architecture and the components of the platform
Specify requirements on how to best develop it to support the growing business of RxEye
Evaluate products that will enhance the cost/benefit of the RxEye online service
Specify interfaces for integration with customer systems
Managing the process of continuously prioritising and implementing new requirements
Ensuring that supplier deliver on time and budget
Operations and support
Ensure that IT operations meets the agreed SLAs for the technical platform in terms of availability, response time, data security etc
Ensure that the end user support meets agreed SLAs
Managing upgrades and maintenance of platform with supplier
General
Managing technical contracts and suppliers
Continuously evaluate alternatives for suppliers. Be responsible for the whole process of stating requirements and evaluating suppliers.

Excellent understanding of technical architecture and technical integration
Experience of complex technical platforms based on several different products

Knowledge of HL7 and Dicom standard
