Scania develops exhaust aftertreatment systems in-house, and the department of Emissions Solutions is a key partner of exhaust aftertreatment systems to the brands in the VW Truck & Bus group. To further strengthen and support the world-class integration in the global powertrain solution we need a Technical Manager to be on top of driving the area cross-functionally.
As Technical Manager you will be leading developments on strategic level within the area of Exhaust Aftertreatment, and supporting the entire organization with your expertise. You will be responsible for pursuing the technological development as well as the development of methods and processes within Exhaust Aftertreatment.
Depending on the candidate profile a suitable home team will be assigned this role to ensure a strong connection to the operations.
What distinguishes you
You are already a respected authority within commercial vehicle exhaust aftertreatment systems with a relevant academic background. You have first-hand experience from all product life-cycle stages i.e. pre-development, concept development, serial development and product maintenance. You have experience from working in international teams, challenging component suppliers and you have a large network in the field. The final candidate has proven experience of successfully translating engine performance requirements to a balanced exhaust aftertreatment system design.
You are business fluent in English.
The vacancy is in Södertälje starting at the earliest possible date.
