Now there is an exciting opportunity at Aptiv, who is looking for a Technical Manager for a radar project within Advanced Safety product line. The project will consist of about 50 team members worldwide involving modern technology.
As the Technical Manager, you will have a key role to make this project successful.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Lead development projects in Active Safety and Autonomous vehicles
• Lead product hardware- and software development
• Customer requirements analysis and alignment with internal and external
• development departments
• Take part of pursuit activities working with start centers, focus will be on commercial vehicle customers.
• Interaction with customers and internal development departments
• Build long term relationship with customers management organization
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the technical development. Technical development involves development of the electrical design, mechanical design as well as the SW forming the overall functionality. You will work closely together with the Project Manager who takes the responsibility of overall milestone planning, design reviews and meeting product cost- and quality targets.
To succeed in this role, you likely have excellent experience of leadership, leading software- and hardware projects. You have an Engineering degree (preferably Master in e.g. electrical engineering, computer science) and strong technical background. Good knowledge in electrical- and mechanical design, as well as in embedded software development will ensure a smooth delivery and job satisfaction. If you have several years of experience from the Automotive area and documented experience in active safety technology development, this is the position for you!

You can gain trust and handle issues in a diplomatic manner when needed. Communication skills in both Swedish and English will be highly valued when communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
