In Linköping, we're developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software and vehicle testing.

What You 'll Do

As Technical Lead in System Engineering, you will be responsible to lead development of customer solutions based on our active safety products in accordance with the company standards and customer requirements.

You will be a part of a customer project management team and work closely with our customers and colleagues from various engineering disciplines such as, system, software, hardware, test and industrialization, to develop state-of-the-art solutions that saves lives.

You will be responsible for:

• Technical requirements of SW and HW designs to ensure that the delivered product meets all the agreed requirements
• Coordinate the demands and needs from external and internal stakeholders to a comprehensive product architecture ensuring that technical solutions are safe and producible

• Defining technical planning and coordinate development activities with different engineering disciplines to ensure capable and effective execution
• Monitoring high level adherence to technical plans and set key performance attributes throughout projects

• Provide technical direction and decisions to project teams

We think you will also bring:

• Good knowledge and experience within the field of systems engineering, e.g. requirements engineering and system architectural design
• Ability to communicate effectively and present complex ideas to peers, management and customers
• Good technical leadership, planning and organization/control skills

• Good risk management skills, weighing development effort against added value
• Experience of risk assessment methods such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
• Experience of embedded software and hardware development
• You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish

Meritorious:
• Experience from automotive industry and work with safety-critical systems along with prior experience with functional safety
• Experience of Design for Manufacturability

Education: Master's degree with focus on systems, electronics, software or equivalent, but most important a passion for the field.
