hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos ST-Ericsson AT AB i Lund The LTE Physical Layer Algorithm and Simulation team is responsible for development and verification of physical layer algorithms. This means that we are involved in standardization and systemization work, where the performance/feasibility of various L1 algorithms is studied and compared.
The work is mainly done in a C++ based simulator as well as in Matlab. The C++ based simulator is used throughout the whole platform life cycle, i.e. for algorithm development in the systemization phase, for generating input to the standardization bodies (3GPP), and for verification of the system design. The actual platform is finally verified against the simulator. Furthermore, the simulator is used to optimize platform performance and as a reference in lab test and when trouble shooting issues found in field trials.
To further strengthen the LTE simulation team in Lund, we are looking for a LTE technical project lead. As the technical project lead (object leader in ST-Ericsson terminology) you will lead a team consisting of ~8 developers throughout the whole platform life cycle as outlined above. As our project lead, you will be responsible for driving the daily activities in the project, ensuring that the products fulfill the requirements in the end. Thru the work you will hence gain a deep understanding of the physical layer design and play an important role in securing that our platforms have the competitive edge. Thorough project leading, analytic and programming skills are essential, as well as experience with tools like Matlab and other link level simulation tools, since you also will take on hand-on tasks in the simulator.
You will work in an international team located in Lund in Sweden, and collaborate with other simulation teams in Germany and China. Also, you will work in close cooperation with other functional teams, organizations and sites that are involved in the implementation and realization of the platform. Competence
2+ years experience in a technical project lead position
M. Sc. or Ph. D. or equivalent experience
5+ years hands-on experience in digital signal processing algorithms design for wireless systems
Thorough technical programming skills in C/C++
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills as well as excellent English, both verbal and in writing
Ability to clearly communicate with and motivate project members
Well organized, structured and curious
