About the team
Do you feel inspired by working with EE platform design and EE architecture together with stakeholders in a cross-functional environment? Do you want to be part of a team where we have the future in focus while standing with our feet in the present?
We are looking for an engaged engineer with the leadership skills, expertise and, more importantly, passion to take our electrical and electronic system in our vehicles to the next level. The group is responsible for leading the design and evolution of the EE architecture throughout the Volvo Group, as well as establishing the roadmaps capturing that evolution.
Job description
As a Technical lead for EE architecture you are in the centre of shaping the future of our EE architecture, how we work with it and how we document our solutions. You will:
lead and drive major discussions and investigations related to the EE architecture, together with platform architects and system architects in other development organisations
anchor proposed solutions with stakeholders and decision
be central in establishing and rolling out new architecture related concepts in the organisation
manage the team's backlog and planning, securing adequate stakeholder support, follow up the work in the group and to ensure progress
Requirements and qualifications
MSc in Electrical engineering, Computer systems, Computer science, or equivalent
Significant experience in EE and software related system and product development and design
Experience in leading complex technical investigations, encompassing the whole EE system, in large global organisations
Familiarity with the Volvo Group EE Architectures and especially TEA2+ is a merit
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
