The department R&D Execution at Alstom Power's Environmental Control Systems (ECS) provide world class level expertise and capabilities in Air Quality Control System technologies (AQCS) using an innovative mindset and efficient project execution.
The Technical Leads in R&D Execution deals with all ECS technologies such as dry and wet desulphurization, electrostatic precipitation, fabric filtration, catalytic processes, adsorption, absorption, process control and optimization, etc. In the position as Technical Lead you will share your time between the role as coordinator of technical tasks and execution of technical tasks in the research projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical leadership in R&D Execution projects
• Coordinating engineering from multiple disciplines
• Create and execute R&D Project Execution Plans
• Responsible for communicating technical results within the project team and to outside parties
• Responsible for technical documentation
• Communicate results and deviations to Program Managers and Department Managers
• Support the business with expertise for commercial projects
• Ensuring compliance with corporate, sector and business directives and EHS standards

• Bachelor/Master of Science preferably within Chemical engineering, PhD beneficial
• Successful experience in product/technology development
• Successful experience in engineering or R&D producing predictable results on time and budget
• Ability to interact with other disciplines and technologies
• Able to lead a team of technical experts and engineers
• Shows strong commitment to the achievement of objectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the power industry, AQCS or a related industry is an advantage.
The position is based in Växjö, Sweden but you will work with an international team, therefore fluent English is required.
