What's in it for you?
Design solutions for enabling and improving configuration management for current and future Vehicle Software configurations. Stakeholder management to understand what the customer needs to bring value to the organization and use agile methodology (e.g. contribute to backlog refinement) to collaborate with the developing team. Design solutions for enabling Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of In-Car software. Driving solutions to support large scale operations for Software Development (a.k.a. solutions within a complete software development value flow). Providing an expert level of support to our teams for cross value flow solutions enhancements and developments. Partner with suppliers, architects, engineers, developers, and internal stakeholders to provide expert guidance on upcoming and innovative technologies and standardization. Contribute to boosting team knowledge and continuous improvements.
You and your skills
Good knowledge of distributed systems and solutions when implementing information flows.
Demonstrated ability to be a team player in a fast-paced agile environment.
Display proficiency in administration, architecting, designing, documenting, testing and providing logical, physical diagrams on a global level of solutions in an enterprise environment
Excellent communication skills: the ability to convey ideas in written form and the capability to share those ideas verbally in a clear, concise manner to both technical specialists and people without technical knowledge.
Excellent ability to understand what the customer needs to support the organization with what the organization needs, and convey the needs to the developing team
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
Experience in the Automotive industry is meritorious.
Experience from working as an architect in an agile framework, preferably SAFe framework.
Knowledge of state of the art tool architectures is meritorious
Knowledge about the Volvo Cars Configuration Management and PLM systems (e.g., KDP, PIE, VIDA) is meritorious
Understanding CI/CD both usage and operations are meritorious.
University M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with preferably more than 5 years' experience.
