What do we offer?
At Connected Experience (Infotainment, Connectivity and Data Platform) we are now looking for a technical lead within Basetech. You will be part of a competence team within the basetech area and have broad and deep cooperation with many other teams across the Volvo Cars R&D. Here you will have the opportunity to learn and develop for every sprint. It is a complex technical area and essential for all other functions in the car. The team is working with current car models, but we are spending most time on future architecture for fully electric cars.
What will you do?
We are part of an agile product development organization with SAFE as a way of working. We have created this team with focus on Core Basetech and the team acts as Subject Matter Experts the Connected Experience domain (complete infotainment system). They support in analyzing results and logs from integration/boxcar testing, verifying basetech requirement on domain level and creating automated test cases for our test environment as well as refining requirements from vehicle level to component.
If you would like to contribute to the next generation advanced Volvo Cars and Connected Experience system foundation such as power moding, software download, bus communication and diagnostics, then this could be the right thing for you. Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for professionals with genuine interest in cars and infotainment.
We believe that you at least have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
We see that you have strong automotive Basetech competence in Diagnostic, Power Management, FlexRay, Ethernet, CAN and like working with CANoe/CANalyzer and Wireshark when you are troubleshooting. Maybe you have experience in Robot Framework?
Experience form Continuous Integration in automated test is meritorious as well as Python programming. Essential are also your technical leadership, communication skills and of course collaboration. You are fluent in English (both written and spoken).
