We are looking for a Technical Illustrator to work inhouse with some of our most valued customers that have chosen Etteplan as their supplier of technical documentation. The customers are market leaders in their industries and their products can be found in many Swedish homes and industries. We work in both national and international projects.
The main tasks of this position involve the production of technical user documentation and illustrations where a target group-perspective permeates all your work. Your daily work as a technical illustrator usually takes place in project groups with design engineers, developers, service personnel, educators, product specialists and technical informants. You will become a part of our process, from information gathering to the publication of information material.
Qualifications
You have an education in informative illustrations, technical illustrations or equivalent. Since the work often takes place with 3D-CAD as a base, we would like to see that you have experience working in 3D-environments. You should have a good technical understanding and a strong interest in illustrating technical products. You can manage the Adobe-package and it is beneficial if you also are familiar with Lattice 3D. It is extra beneficial if you have experience, and are interested in, new technology, such as Augmented Reality.
Since the work consists of both text and illustrations, you need to have an interest and some knowledge regarding written communication. You must be able to write and speak fluently in English and Swedish. Industrial experience is also preferred.

You have a high level of service, take your own initiatives and are resourceful, creative and outgoing. , A strong drive and the capacity to create good relationships are crucial characteristics to succeed in the role as a consultant.
