The Technical Generalist Designer will be a part of the Client Development team. The team develop new and fun games for the global e-gaming market. The Client Development team does everything from game design to illustration, animation, development, documentation and QA. Our main game types include the bestselling Swedish Triss scratch ticket, Probability - and Casino Games and white label game clients with localization support for any language and market, like the Betsson Bingo. The team develops games to highly esteemed customers like Svenska Spel, Svenska Postkodlotteriet, Dutch Lottery, Bingolotto, La Francaise De Jeux, BCLC as well as many others.
Job Description
As a Technical Generalist Designer within the Client Development team you will be responsible to provide high-quality graphics, features and documentations for our customers that are using our game products. You will work with graphics, animation, configuration, documentation and design support of our portfolio of games developed within the team. The Technical Generalist Designer will be responsible to ensure that the working files are clean and organized so they are understandable to other in-house or external designers. The role will also include to document and communicate design in writing and mockups for developers and product owner. These are some of your responsibilities: Configure complex layouts and animations in JSON format Create new and update existing documentation Support our customers in understanding our products and documentation Consider customer interaction and UX
You will be part of a cross functional team that develop new games from start to end, working in an agile process. Your new team consists of 10 happy and curious colleagues including developers, graphical artists and QA's.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who likes the technical side of design who gladly dives into learning new things and solutions. We believe you have generalist skills in UI, UX, Interaction and Graphic design and enjoys understanding how pieces fit together in a larger system. Since you will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders it will be important that you can communicate your ideas well in both writing and speech. You have an eye for quality and an understanding of the importance of brand management. Besides the previous description we believe you have the following skills: 5+ years' experience working with graphic design, visual communication or related field Experience working with Adobe suite (main tools: Photoshop, After Effects) Experience working with JSON or XML data structure
Technologies and methodologies used include but are not limited to: Adobe XD or InVision, Vector graphics (Illustrator), 3D graphics (Blender or equivalent. 3D tools in After Effects), Animation using Spine, Photo manipulation, Video editing (After effects, Premiere, etc.), HTML5 or JavaScript.
