Aurobay is looking for a Technical expert Computational Fluid dynamics and heat transfer. You will be a resource for the whole company within the area of Fluid dynamics and Heat transfer related to all aspects of both Combustion Engines and Electric Drive. Fluid dynamical simulations (CFD) are a vital part of the development process at Aurobay. CFD makes it possible to analyze important aspects of propulsion system behavior before prototypes are available and at a low cost compared to physical testing. Heat transfer and thermal management are key areas to focus on both to design energy efficient engines and e-machines and in developing control strategies for them.

What will you do?
As a Technical expert you will have a wide position with different types of tasks. You will for example continuously develop new CFD methods that supports improved correlation with physical measurement and enables high productivity in Combustion, Gas Exchange, and Electrical Drive development. Perform, develop and advice on 3D simulations within Advanced Engineering and Research studies and on 1D simulations in primarily Advanced Engineering studies. The role also includes securing Process, Methods & Tools readiness by initiating and supervising Operational Development projects.
You will be recognized as a go-to person, secure succession by proactively providing mentoring and coaching. The position also includes to proactively initiate and maintain cooperation with Universities regarding simulation activities in different fields of technology as well as participating in seminars, conferences, and conventions.
