Job Description
To the Store Engagement & Presence Team within product Area Core Customer Assets in Customer Domain, we are looking for a Technical Engineer to join our team on an exciting journey!
The team consists of 6 customer centric and dedicated Software and Technical Engineers that are currently working in our first PIs to set the scope of our team and work with our mission that is to enable brand unique and customer inspiring store atmosphere to support sales. Are you the Technical Engineer that will join us to develop and enhance analytics and engagement within stores on a global scale?
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a variety of activities cross our different products located in our stores, following the whole chain for DevOps. The products our team are responsible for is Music, Visitor Counter, Digital Signage and Tablets in Store. Important skills for this role are to have a wide technical experience, a good technical knowledge within our products and be able to manage several vendors since we buy all current services.
You will take an important role in our goal to decrease our footprint and increase efficiency in our stores globally. We have an old hardware setup and need to secure a futureproof design including connecting our stores to the cloud and without adding hardware or cost.
Furthermore, you will:
• Develop and secure our delivery within Visitor Counter and investigate to develop analytics in store
• Secure a solid music delivery in Store
• Take an important part in Vendor management
• Secure the product Tablet and transition from iOS to Android solution for Tablets and hand over to another team.

As a team we are building new services that we own and run. We are fully responsible for the whole development cycle, design, build, test, deploy, evaluate and repeat. The mindset "You build it - you run it", is key for us. We are measured on business outcome, not code merge or defects.

Qualifications
Your mindset & skills
As a Technical Engineer at H&M Business Tech you will embark on a journey that will lead to something new and exciting - we will test, fail and learn. You are an important player in this transformation, and so we believe you are communicative, have a "You build it you run it" mindset and able to work in an environment that is not yet formalized. You have previous experience from working in companies with many stakeholders, you have worked with distributed teams, and you know how to translate business requirements and visualize technical roadmaps. Beneficial to have experience with customer facing sites, ideally retail and ecommerce. Ideal if there's experience from previously working as a Solutions Architect or Technician with focus on infrastructure or retail solutions for large enterprises.
We also believe that you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field
• Have 10 years of experience working with Technical solutions
• Understands the global delivery
• Have strong communication skills with different Stakeholders, all from Technical to Business people
• Have experience with building Cloud Environment
• Knowledge within analytics in Store experience, Content Management, MDM, Network, IT Infrastructure, IT Security skills (understanding of GDPR) and API are beneficial
