About Core Engineering

We work in a creative and innovative area where our main goal is to provide standard solutions related to facilities globally. We work within a team that provides infrastructure solutions for IT environments, manage and optimize contracts and capacity for co-locations, develop and manage platforms for smart building solutions and sustainability measurements i.e electricity measurements and reports and IoT devices and automation.
About the role
This specific role will be focusing on Critical Facilities and work with standard solutions for infrastructure in IT environments where we provide and support local business with solutions for cabinets, electricity, cooling and fire detection and extinguish system with redundancy and capacity optimized for the requirement of the site and have a close collaboration within the team to implement other solutions that we offer as a product.

Qualifications

Who are you?
As a Technical Engineer at H&M Group we believe you are a true team player who has several years of experience of global IT and complex network environments with basic understanding of Agile methodology. You can take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments You will be a key player and we believe you are adaptable, collaborative, open-minded and able to work in a flexible environment with a non-prestigious approach.
Furthermore, we believe you have experience or an understanding of some of the following:

Experience in Datacenter or other smaller IT infrastructure environments.
A high-level understanding of capacity planning electricity and redundancy.
A mind for redundancy solutions and finding weak points in an infrastructure solution.
Used to work with problem solving.
Used to lead initiatives, minor projects, continuous improvement and present the progress to stakeholders.
Experience within climate systems and cooling
Experience from facility management and BMS (Building Management System)
Understanding for a physical IT environment such as Hardware and Network.
Understanding for IT system solutions such as Backup,
Servers and IT infrastructure.
