ROLE DESCRIPTION
Your job as a Technical Editor will be to create and maintain spare parts documentation, creating parts lists with corresponding illustrations and organizing the information in a comprehensive way. As a team we cover the spare parts documentation for all products throughout the Volvo Construction Equipment machine range, within the process of product improvement.
Even though you will be spending a lot of time in front of your screen, mining for data and creating content, collaboration is essential. Collaboration within the team to understand and conclude on how to apply design changes coming through. Collaboration for innovation and improvement on process and product. Collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders to drive our needs as well as understanding the need of our customers.

Other than that, the following will catch our attention:
Education within the area of Information Design or Engineering, since we value higher education and these are the academic areas closest to our line of work in our opinion
Professional experience from spare parts documentation, service manuals, operators/drivers manual, other types of technical documentation or positions in the vicinity of mentioned areas
Solid English, spoken and written, is required since we are a global function with daily international correspondence
Swedish is preferred, since that is the native language of all team members
