Your mission
As a Technical Documentation Writer, you will be responsible for developing technical documentation concerning spare parts catalogs, safety- and instruction manuals, and overhauling instructions. It will be your task to update and follow up requests of changes in close collaboration with the development departments and aftermarket support. We work in modern software to deliver high quality online and the writing is mainly conducted in English.
Your work will be an important part of the team effort that ensures our customers get the great experience of our products online that we intend to give them. Your contribution is to secure that the right information is at the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities:
* Develop technical information for new products in the form of images and text.
* Participate in project meetings and product releases.
* Work close to R&D and have a good understanding of technical information.
* Update and maintain documentation of spare part and instruction manuals.
* Follow and comply to EU legal aspects of creating technical documentation.
* Impact and improve today's process to be more efficient and streamlined.
* Support Customer Center with access to correct platforms and technical documentation.
* Support with Online applications for our fleet management.
* Support to implement a new platform with focus on customer value and digitalization.

The position is based in Kalmar, Sweden.

Your profile
We expect you to have a technical interest, to be a good administrator and have some experience from image editing, reading drawings and from the role of a writer. In addition, you should have very good English proficiency in both speech and writing, including technical English. Knowledge of additional languages are beneficial.
A post-secondary education or university degree in the field of technical information or engineering is required, or the equivalent experience gained through working experience. You have very good computer skills in MS office and Adobe suite. You are familiar with XML, SGML and content management systems.
